The mission of Vikegear is to provide staffing solutions and honest professional advice that enable network members to effectively meet their staffing needs.
About Us
Vikegear, Ltd's inception was October of 2004 when four co-workers were in the midst of a layoff. These co-workers were software developers and contractors and saw the need to be able to utilize their network of co-workers to find jobs. They tried Monster and LinkedIn. They wanted to have a professional social network, something that would bridge the gap between MySpace, LinkedIn, Monster, and Dice. A place were people could keep all of their professional contacts in one place, be able to post jobs, and have their skills confirmed by their previous co-workers. After the three members incorporated and established a legitimate business, Vikegear Ltd., they started developing the Job Network website, http://www.peerJobs.net
This is a community of talented and sharp individuals who want to play fair and help others develop their professional community.

The Founders
Gerald Juhl is a Computer Science graduate from the University of Colorado at Denver in 1997, throughout his career felt there had to be a better way to shape his career than just Monster and Dice. From his work on GIS systems, content delivery systems, to fraud detection systems, Gerald wants more than the tools currently to available to help control the next system he will be working on.
Kenneth McKeever received his MA in Experimental Psychology in 1996 and an MS in Computer Science in 1998 emphasizing experimental statistics, educational testing and neural networks. Because of his experiences a contractor in Information Technology and Telecommunications building neural networks and fraud detection, he realized he could help contractors from being taken advantage of by their contracting companies.
Esther Baca is close to her family who started a house cleaning business in Aurora and after receiving her MBA from Regis University in 2006, she has a special interest for various aspects of starting and maintaining a business. Throughout her experience from her Spanish degree at the University of Utah to her work experience in education, non-profits, and for profit companies, she has realized the need for a professional social network.
Victor Timmons is a Computer Engineering graduate from the University of New Mexico in 1999. After various Software Development positions and a short stint as an independent contractor, he realized he was looking for a way to utilize the contacts throughout his career to work with good talented sharp people again.
